How to schedule TikTok posts (or let Postdom do it for you)

Schedule a finished video in TikTok Studio in four steps, or let Postdom make your TikToks from your website and schedule the ones you approve.

On this page

Here's how to schedule TikTok posts: upload your finished video in TikTok Studio, review its caption and audience, choose a date and time, then confirm. If you don't have a video yet, Postdom is the faster route: it makes TikTok posts from your website and schedules the ones you approve.

There are three ways to do it, and the right one depends on whether you already have the video:

  1. Postdom: best when you want the posts made for you. Paste your website, approve the posts you like, and Postdom schedules them.
  2. TikTok Studio: best when you already have one finished video and want to schedule it yourself.
  3. An API or AI agent: best when your own app or agent prepares finished videos and needs to submit them on a schedule.

How to schedule TikTok posts with Postdom

Postdom turns your website into ready-to-post videos, slideshows and single images in your brand, then posts the ones you approve to TikTok, Instagram and more. You don't upload or pick a time slot for each post.

  1. Paste your website

Type your website address. Postdom reads your brand from it: logo, colours, fonts, tone, what you do and who it's for.

  2. Get ready-to-post content

Your For You feed fills with finished videos, slideshows and single images in your brand, using real clips and photos with native text boxes.

  3. Approve, edit or skip

Nothing posts until you approve it. At your first approval, Postdom asks where it should post and you connect your account.

  4. Postdom schedules what you approve

Approved posts are scheduled for you in your time zone, with quiet hours overnight. Every approve, edit and skip shapes the next posts.

You can change a post's time, take it off the schedule or post it now from Posts in the app. See how scheduling works in Postdom.

Free: how to schedule TikTok posts with Postdom

Postdom's Free plan has no card: 1 post a month made for you from your website, posted to 2 connected accounts of your choice. Free posts keep the Postdom watermark.

So you can schedule TikTok posts with Postdom without paying anything, and see what your website turns into first. When you want more, Starter is $39 a month for 30 posts, about $1.30 a post. A post is any format and only counts when you approve or schedule it.

How to schedule TikTok posts in TikTok Studio

You need your TikTok login and the finished video. Open TikTok Studio in a browser and follow these steps.

  1. Open TikTok Studio and check the account

Log in at tiktok.com/tiktokstudio in a browser. Confirm the handle before choosing Upload, especially if you manage more than one account.

  2. Upload and review the finished video

Add the caption and cover. Watch the preview, choose who can watch, and review comments and reuse settings. Complete any content disclosures that apply to your video.

  3. Choose the schedule and verify the time zone

Use the scheduling control, then choose the date and time available to your account. TikTok's older browser walkthrough describes a Schedule toggle and a computer-time-zone default. Check the zone shown in your own screen before confirming.

  4. Confirm, then check the scheduled post

Select Schedule and check that the saved post has the intended account and time. After that time, check the post itself; a saved schedule is not a live post.

If Schedule is missing, check Studio in a browser. TikTok says creator tools are available to Personal and Business Accounts, but individual features vary by region, eligibility and app or web experience. Procedure source: TikTok's Video Scheduler walkthrough and its creator tools help.

How to schedule posts on TikTok

Scheduling posts on TikTok means saving a finished video with a future publish time. Native scheduling lives in TikTok Studio. A tool like Postdom goes one step further: it makes the post, and you only approve it.

How to schedule TikTok posts on desktop

On desktop, use TikTok Studio in your browser: the steps above are the desktop flow TikTok documents. With Postdom, open the app in your browser, approve the posts in For You, and they are scheduled for you.

How to schedule TikTok posts on phone

TikTok's walkthrough cited here documents the browser flow, and TikTok says features vary by app or web experience, so check the options in your own app. Postdom works in your phone's browser: approve a post from For You and it is scheduled, with no upload from your camera roll.

Check the time before you save it

TikTok's documented browser default and a UTC time are different. For example, 18:30 at UTC+10:00 is 08:30 UTC on the same day. A time near midnight can land on the previous or next UTC date.

Enter your intended local time and its UTC offset on that date. Account for daylight saving yourself. This converts the time only; it does not schedule a post or check account policy.

Your conversion will appear here.

Schedule a finished video with an API or agent

Use this path when your agent or application already prepares the publishing request. Through an API or agent, Postdom publishes finished videos you supply to TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Facebook Reels, X, Snapchat Spotlight, Threads and Bluesky. Follow the MCP connection guide first; pasting a prompt does not connect tools.

The released helper makes TikTok posts visible only to you, with AI disclosure on and comments, Duet and Stitch off. Watch the video and give express consent first, and stop if any setting is wrong: the helper cannot change these settings. Read the TikTok automation workflow for the full request.

For the TikTok video Direct Post API, post_info.title is documented at 2,200 UTF-16 runes. That is not a verified native Studio caption limit or proof that Postdom checks the same count. Check your caption for this publishing path. Official field reference; field evidence checked .

If a scheduled TikTok post does not appear

Find the original scheduled post before trying again. The next action depends on whether it is waiting, missed, failed or already published with a private audience.
