How to schedule LinkedIn posts (native and with Postdom)

Schedule a LinkedIn post with the composer's clock control in four steps, or let Postdom make LinkedIn videos from your website and schedule the ones you approve.

Here's how to schedule LinkedIn posts: write the post in LinkedIn's composer, open the clock control, choose a date and time inside LinkedIn's stated window, then confirm. If you'd rather not make the posts at all, Postdom turns your website into LinkedIn videos in your brand and schedules the ones you approve.

Three ways to schedule LinkedIn posts:

  1. Postdom: best when you want the posts made for you. Paste your website, approve what you like, and Postdom schedules it to LinkedIn and your other accounts.
  2. LinkedIn's composer: best when you've written one post and want to pick its time yourself.
  3. An API or AI agent: best when your own app or agent submits finished videos.

How to schedule LinkedIn posts with Postdom

Postdom turns your website into ready-to-post videos, slideshows and single images in your brand. Videos and slideshows publish to LinkedIn, alongside TikTok, Instagram and the rest of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Facebook Reels, X, Snapchat Spotlight, Threads and Bluesky.

  1. Paste your website

Type your website address. Postdom reads your brand from it: logo, colours, fonts, tone, what you do and who it's for.

  2. Get ready-to-post content

Your For You feed fills with finished videos, slideshows and single images in your brand, using real clips and photos with native text boxes.

  3. Approve, edit or skip

Nothing posts until you approve it. At your first approval, Postdom asks where it should post and you connect your account.

  4. Postdom schedules what you approve

Approved posts are scheduled for you in your time zone, with quiet hours overnight. Every approve, edit and skip shapes the next posts.

On paid plans, Starter is $39 a month for 30 posts. See pricing and how scheduling works in Postdom.

Free: how to schedule LinkedIn posts with Postdom

Postdom's Free plan has no card: 1 post a month made for you from your website, posted to 2 connected accounts of your choice. Free posts keep the Postdom watermark. Connect LinkedIn as one of them and you can schedule LinkedIn posts with Postdom without paying anything. LinkedIn's own composer is free too; the steps are below.

How to schedule LinkedIn posts in your browser

You need your LinkedIn login and the post ready to write. LinkedIn documents a clock control in its composer that sets a future publish time.

  1. Start the post in LinkedIn

Choose Start a post from the top of your LinkedIn homepage and write the post in the composer.

  2. Open the clock control and pick a time

Select the clock icon in the composer, then choose the date and time. LinkedIn states the time selected must be within 10 minutes to 3 months from the current time.

  3. Confirm, then check it landed in the scheduled list

Select Next and then Schedule. Reopen the clock control and choose View all scheduled posts to confirm the post, account and time.

  4. Change or remove it deliberately

From the scheduled list, use the More icon to Modify schedule or Edit post. Change the original rather than writing a second copy.

How to schedule posts on LinkedIn

Scheduling posts on LinkedIn means saving a post with a future publish time, either in LinkedIn's composer or through a tool. With Postdom, the post is made for you and scheduled when you approve it.

How to schedule posts on LinkedIn company page

LinkedIn's help article doesn't say whether its scheduler is scoped to a member profile, a Page, or both, so check the composer on your Page. In Postdom, you connect the LinkedIn account you want it to post to.

Schedule a supplied video with an API or agent

Through an API or agent, Postdom publishes finished videos you supply to TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Facebook Reels, X, Snapchat Spotlight, Threads and Bluesky. Postdom sends no LinkedIn-specific settings on this path, so the post uses whatever audience your LinkedIn account applies by default. Follow the MCP connection guide first.

Two LinkedIn video facts are worth knowing before you supply a file. Postdom accepts video/mp4 for LinkedIn, which is enforced on the publish path — LinkedIn’s Pages specification withdraws the other formats in those words. The file-size figure LinkedIn publishes is a recommendation rather than a gate here, because Postdom’s own global cap sits an order of magnitude below it. Official source; checked .

What LinkedIn reports back

Postdom reports completed publishing work with evidence for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels, and X. LinkedIn is not in that list, so LinkedIn metrics are shown as unavailable with the reason, never as zero. See how availability is recorded.
