The best time to post on Twitter depends on your audience, and the two big published studies point at different parts of the day. Below is what each one says, day by day, in your audience's local time. Where they disagree: Sprout Social's best windows are afternoons; Buffer's top three slots every day are mornings, 8 to 11am.
It depends on your audience
- These are patterns across other accounts' posts. Your followers' habits can be different, and your own results are the better guide once you have a few weeks of them.
- The times are in your audience's local time. If most of your followers are in another country, convert them to your own clock.
- With two studies this far apart, test one window from each for a few weeks and keep the one your own numbers favour.
